Auto Detect Circuit for MIDI TRS A/B

Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to incorporate an auto detect circuit for TRS A/ B instead of having a switch? There is an example here. It is open source design that would need to be credited to designer (info and schematic below provided by okyeron):

The "LPZW Auto Crossover circuit” is something from Kay at http://leipzigwest.org which I believe originated on the Plinky synth. Basically it’s using a dual optocoupler instead of a regular single channel one.

I’ve attached a portion of a schematic that Kay shared some time back.

If you end up using this somewhere - please call it "LPZW TRS MIDI" or "LPZW Auto Crossover circuit” or similar with credit to LPZW… (quote from Kay) "Please tell them to mention me when speaking about the auto crossover (website, social media .. whatever)"
